On Monday, December 3, eight patients at U.S. Renal Care in Town and Country were hospitalized after receiving contaminated dialysis treatments.

On Monday, December 3, eight patients at U.S. Renal Care in Town and Country were hospitalized after receiving contaminated dialysis treatment according to news reports.

The report stated that cleaning solution was accidentally added to the water supply while the eight patients were dialyzing. When the problem was detected the procedure was stopped and all patients were advised to go to the hospital to seek medical attention immediately. Seven of them went right away, the eighth eventually went but was soon after released. Three were said to be in critical condition. However, as of Wednesday all were said to be in stable condition.
